Web Success is Writing for People, not Google

It has never failed to amaze me the kind of technological trickery or ways that people are resorting to just to get instant traffic from google to their website.

From dozens of methods such as
article spinning, generating thousands of junk pages or blog, making multiple post to blog to other form of black hat techniques…

These are the ways in which people are trying to cash into the google cash cow.

We need to come back to the very basic.

People are going online to search for information.
If you meet that need and serve them well, they (the visitors) are going to be raving fans for your website

What matters most is your content. Get that right and people will find you. Good content will always be picked up and recommended to others

In fact, Strong content is the only viable mechanism to building long term traffic.

It’s easy to get sucked up by the hype around us that we totally forgot about the basics especially for people in the internet marketing industry.

Sometimes I often wonder if these people are not in the internet marketing industry, they might not have got side-track from the basic in the first place.

If your business revolves totally around google, it is a weak business model because once the search engine algorithm changes, your business will be in complete jeopardy.
