We’ll examine what and how often you should be emailing your list - and the ONE tell-tale sign that tells you to make adjustment to your mailing frequency.

You’ve worked hard to build a list. Now it’s time to enjoy the fruit of your labor and make money from the list. After all, the money is in the list right? The next question that should come to your mind is how often you should email your list. Should you email them 2 times, 5 times or 7 times a week?Really, there is no ‘correct’ answer to the above question.

It really depends on the kind of relationship that you have with your list, the niche that you are in as well as the kind of content that you are emailing them.

If you have a strong relationship with your list and you are emailing them with great content that really helps them, frequent mailing would be fine. After all, who would want to complain about great information when it helps them? However, do be aware of information overloading on the subscriber’s part.

On the other hand, if you are bombarding your list with promotional content 5 times a week, it’s definitely a big NO NO. After all, people do not join your list to be bombarded with offers unless you are in a special type of niche where people join the list for the sake of getting offers. Think about girls joining the list to get mailing offer on special hand-made jewellery.

Then again, you can’t be emailing them great information all the time because you aren’t going to be getting paid for that.

Thus, the key is maintaining a balance here.

You want to send them great information to retain subscriber’s royalty and at the same time you want to get paid for sending promotional offers.

Since every list is different, you need to test it yourself to determine what and how often to mail your list. But when you see subscribers dropping out of your list, it’s a sure tell-tale sign that you need to make readjustment to your mailing.
