I like chocolate, but how can i lose weight and still eat desserts? And what are other ways to lose weight?

simple – reduce your calories in other areas, and increase your activity.
Those are the laws of physics – you cant lose weight unless you obey them.

I have read books and articles but they are not specific enough. I need advise from people with experience.

There are two types of investing in stocks – technical and fundamental.
In technical investing, investors pay attention to the stock chart and take their buy and sell signals from what they see there. They look at things like whether the small-term average prices (like a 50-day moving average) are crossing longer term average prices (like a 200-day moving average) and choose that an vital trend is changing. What is working from a technical analysis standpoint is always changing, because once some signal starts to work, investors learn it and pile into it.
In fundamental investing, investors learn about what companies really make and do. They try to figure out whether the company they’re studying is likely to have the right product to take advantage of a trend, or whether they just have a killernew product. In order to succeed in fundamental investing, investors need to work hard to figure out everything there is to know about some small corner of the stock market – sneaker companies, vitamin companies, restaurant companies, whatever. Pick something you’re really interested in and study all the companies that do it. When you know a lot about an industry, you’ll start to be the first to know what’s going to succeed and which company has it, and you’ll know what stocks are going to outperform the market.
Excellent luck -

I want a statistic, I am doing research, I am also trying to advocate the use of Solar cells. I welcome any criticism, information, opinions, anything that would be useful to my research. Thank You.

We have photovoltaic panels on our house. It’s not a huge money-saver in our case. I’m estimating it’s going to be approximately break-even over its lifetime. Nevertheless, I’m quite pleased with the system, and it’s given no distress since its installation in 2006.
If you want an overwhelming amount of information on our install, our page is athttp://www.angelfire.com/ca2/roderick/so…

I am currently unemployed. I spend a lot of time in my dad’s wood shop. I have been working with wood for a while. I’m a 3rd generation word worker. But, Its just a leisure activity, not a trade at this point. How can I turn this interest of wood working into a tradeskill like carpentry or perhaps furniture making. I’m pretty excellent at making dressers, beds, tables and such.

Pub signs, man. If you can get into gold leafing as well, those things can run into the thousands of dollars.

There are many ways to interpret all of the like phrases that have recently come about or been there for years. To clarify to a person how they should view one is nearly unfair. There may not be a “right” or “incorrect” way to look at any of the thousands of wonderful small expressions place together with words to express how a person feels at the time or how one may have another feeling at a different time. These wondrous quotes of a feeling called like phrases can mean the world and sum up everything for the emotions felt at any given time or place. Or may mean absolutely nothing at another time or even bring about a negative feeling when the emotions are not in a excellent place for loving feelings.

Some may feel that every expression of like or the small heart felt like phrases are perfect and all mean the world to them, with all in their world being or feeling fantastic and wonderful. While one could toss out something a simple as “like hurts” and they would really disagree because they feel that their like is wonderful there is nothing about a excellent like that should EVER hurt. To them this may be right; but someone in an abusive relationship will say that like does hurt and another just in the midst of a break-up or one who has just lost someone very close may also agree. This said; like phrases mean what they mean to any person at any time and feeling any emotion be it positive or negative. It is the interpretation of like phrases that make them what they are and it is not what a person is told that they are or what they should mean to them. Make your own mind up and then believe and live it to the fullest.

Here is another one of these like phrases just as an example; “If you like somebody, let them go, for if they return, they are always yours. And if they don’t, they never were.” Look at that for a minute or two and maybe even reread it a couple of times. The first thought here is how gorgeous the outcome of this small like phrase may be for giving a person in your life the freedom from you to just walk away and then come back if they really choose that being with you is what they will choose forever. Sounds pretty nice and that is agreed but; if it is looked at another couple of ways it might not be just a gorgeous.

Like needs to be shared to be fulfilled by any two people and if one needs to be “let go” they were never sure in the first place and needed to see if there was anything better out there and then came to the conclusion that you are the best they can do and chose to come back. The other part of this is that they were let go and upon arriving back will stay forever. How could this be known? It may mean that this time they did not find anything better and may still continue to look. In these like phrases and so many others it is best to reflect on them in the most positive fashion so that you may then apply them to a situation and that it may help with or allow an explanation. In any situation the like phrases worked for the people who came up with them in the first place and might not match your situation, if this seems the case come up with you own or accept whatever meaning that follows what someone else said.

I’m so confused on what kinds of foods are the best to eat for lowering blood pressure! Friends have said not to eat any fruits at all because of the natural sugar they contain! But when I look at articles online they seem to advocate eating lots of fruit! With taking practically all the salt out of our diet and having to eliminate so many things it’s hard to tell what a person with high blood pressure can eat!
Please help!
Thanks

It is o.k to eat fruits. The sugar in fruits is digested and absorbed more slowly than processed sugars. Hence it is very safe to eat fruits. Fruits will also provide you with a lot of fiber, necessary for keeping the bowel free as well as getting rid of cholesterol, fats, toxins and other impurities in the digestive system. Fruits will also provide you with water soluble vitamins some of which are antioxidants.
To regulate your blood pressure it is very vital that you eat lots of fresh raw vegetables and fresh raw fruits. At least 60% of your diet should be of vegetables of which at least 50% should be eaten raw. At least 20% of your diet should be of fruits. The antioxidants and phytonutrients in fruits and vegetables help to reduce oxidation of cholesterol which would otherwise form plaque on the arteries when oxidized.
There are vegetables that are very excellent blood thinners. These are allium vegetables such as onions, garlic, scallion, chives, leek and shallots. The use of these will help to regulate your pressure.
Some persons with high blood pressure do eat beef moderately and have no problem with it, but there are others who keeps away from beef. Your diet should but include milk, cheese, nuts, seeds, grains, fish and all sea foods.
Eat all natural foods – yams, potatoes, pumpkins, breadfruits, squash etc. Vary your meals and have a very wide variety of natural foods.
It is very vital that you limit the amount of salt you have in your diet. Using salt moderately or in very small quantity will help to regulate your pressure.
You do not need to add salt to vegetables if they are steamed in very small amount of water on very low heat. Also it is vital that you do not overcook your vegetables. Your vegetables should still be crunchy when ready to be eaten.
While some persons will tell you not to use salt at all, not only that this is impossible, but also that you will run the risk of sodium deficiency. Sodium is vital in
cellular osmotic pressure (the passage of fluids in and out of the cells) and in transmitting nerve impulses. The following link will give you more information about the benefit of sodium in the diet and the result of deficiency: http://www.healthvitaminsguide.com/miner…

What can you do to stop premature ejaculation. I know there are a lot of different pills andsupplementss that are on the market as well as different herbs and what not but I have no thought where to start. Can anyone give me an thought of where to start with this problem.

Most antidepressants, st johns wort, otc antihistamines and cough suppressants. The cremes and lotions they make for this that have benzocaine in them will numb your skin and will numb your girl too, which is obviously not what you want.

Visual problems often become more common as we grow older, and we should learn to take preventative measures to combat them and recognize their symptoms. They can include the following:

Blind spots (scotomas) – These are areas in our field of vision where it is impossible to see anything.

Blurred vision – This involves problems with seeing small details and the loss of visual sharpness.

Visual problems should never be ignored because they can grow worse and have a serious impact on your quality of life. They may be symptomatic of aging, an injury to the eye, a serious eye condition, or an illness that can affect your vision, such as diabetes. (In the latter case, your primary care doctor should also be involved in your treatment.) When you choose to se a medical professional, keep the following in mind:

An optician dispenses eyeglasses and does not diagnose vision problems.

An optometrist performs eye examinations and may make a diagnosis based on the results of those tests. In some states, this professional may also treat diseases of the eye.

An ophthalmologist is a physician who both diagnoses and treats diseases of the eye.
Vision problems that may come up as we age.

Changes in our vision and the various symptoms related to them listed above can be caused by a wide range of factors: They include:

Nearsightedness (or presbyopia) – This is indicated by problems in seeing objects that are close at hand clearly. It is often experienced by people in their early or mid 40s.

Glaucoma – This is indicated by poor night vision, scotomas, and loss of peripheral vision. It can lead to blindness, and may be either gradual or sudden.

Cataract – This is indicated by halos around lights and cloudiness above the lens of the eye. It is very common in the elderly, who often become sensitive to glare, and both their daytime and nighttime vision may be affected.

Macular degeneration – This is indicated by blurred vision, distorted vision, and poor central vision. It is also the most frequent cause of blindness in people age 60 and above.

Diabetic retinopathy – This condition is indicated by bleeding in the retina, and it can also result in blindness.

Floaters – These minute particles that drift over the eye may be harmless and brief, but they may also indicate that the retina has become detached.

Detached retina – Some symptoms include flashes of light over your field of vision, floaters, or the sensation that something is blocking one side of your field of vision.

Any eye inflammation, infection, or injury.

Optic neuritis – This condition exists when the optic nerve becomes inflamed from multiple sclerosis or some type of infection.

Temporal arteritis – This results when the artery in the brain supplying blood to the optic nerve becomes inflamed.

Migraines – Zigzag patterns, halos, or scotomas often indicate the onset of a migraine headache, and the same symptoms are present with an ophthalmic migraine, minus the headache.

Some medications – Antihistamines, certain high blood-pressure pills, and others.

As a preventive measure, wear sunglasses, give up smoking, limit the amount of alcohol you consume, control your cholesterol level, blood sugar and blood pressure, and eat green, leafy vegetables and other foods containing antioxidants.

I have had a ringing in my ear for about a week. My brother has just had an ear infection that made him lose 90% of his hearing in his ear and I visited him and the next day this started. I’m in Maryland where it snowed 2 feet. I had an appointment on Friday that was canceled, I have an appointment today that was canceled. I don’t have health insurance. I don’t know if there are any home remedies or not and if I should go to the emergency room or wait out the weather until tomorrow (hopefully).

Go to the ER. They have to treat you and will get you a follow-up appointment with a Doc. If it is just tinnitus, they can take care of it in the ER if they can find the source (sometimes it is related to certain medications (Lasix) and sometimes it is related to infections in the middle or inner ear. DON’T wait for the weather to break. If it is something that can be taken care of in the ER, the sooner you take care of it the better. If not, the sooner you get to a specialist, the better for you. Any money you spend on your health will not be wasted money.
